The first day of fall dawned raining.
Chris: Not that you care so much, sending me to tend the garden under this downpour.
Ah the life of a founder of a legacy.
Chris: Besides, you've been keeping me locked up in this house for two days.
Don't worry, I already have an outing planned for today.
Chris: Perfect day to go out with my infant son.
Chris: Why am I at Lisa's house?
This is the outing, surprise! I need you to break up with Lisa. Too bad romantic interests don't count toward breaking up over text.
Chris: And was it necessary to have brought my son?
No, but I didn't want to spend 75 on the babysitter. (We are saving each simoleons to expand the house.)
Lisa: Mmmmm
Chris: As eloquent as always, don't worry, I'm not here to give you back the child, or criticize the way you dress.
I am criticizing her.
Lisa: Then you can come into my house.
V.J.: What is he doing here? I thought leaving the boy at his house was enough of a message.
Lisa: This is awkward.
Chris: Since we're all adults here, and seeing as how story progression informed me that you're pregnant again and this time by V.J., I think it's better that we clear things up once and for all. I think it's better if we can be just friends.
V.J.: I think it will be for the best, so we can all forget about my wife's indiscretions.
Lisa: Why?! Don't I seem interested enough in you?
Chris: Crazy woman, you just abandoned our son so your husband won't leave you. You don't seem very interested in me.
V.J.: This ins't how I planned to spend my married days.
V.J.: Don't worry, it's the pregnancy hormones that make her angry.
Chris: Ok, I think it's time to get out of here.
Lisa in a nutshell.
The kitten is taking out his frustration of being adopted by Lisa and V.J. with the newspaper.
Chris: I understand its feeling.
After a week of selling paintings and red berry beans at the elixir shop, Christopher was able to expand his house, just in time for Owen's birthday.
Owen looks a lot like Lisa with some of Chris. He's a cutie because I say so.
Christopher painted his self portrait using the still-life option, but to stick with the rules a bit I waited for him to reach painting level 7 to do it.
*******
Mortimer has finally become a young adult, so it's time to add him to the household.
Morty: One week we couldn't be together due to game mechanics and you already have a son.
Chris: A week is like 5 years in this game.
Not Christopher's best defense, I must admit, but it is the truth.
Morty: This is your house? It's as dark as my parents' but without the comforts.
Chris: Well, I am a legacy founder, what did you expect?
Morty: At least I brought a little money with me.
Chris: Money that the watcher will reduce as soon as you move in.
The game identifies Mortimer as rich and I try to stick to the rules as much as possible. So reducing the 20,000 that Morty came with makes him poorer than Chris.
Mortimer has the Golden Tongue, Golden Finger LTW and is employed as a fan in the music career. I gave him a makeover appropriate for his new job. Chris is totally checking him out.
Chris: I congratulate myself on my tastes.
Morty: I am a work of art.
This is the first time I've seen this, but Mortimer is the boyfriend of two sims. Darlene is also the girlfriend of two sims, the other being Sam Sekemoto. Super weird. Maybe it's because Morty asked Chris about going steady at the prom and the game didn't take it as valid? Who knows.
Luckily it is easily solvable. It amuses me that both boys have had a thing with the Bunch girls.
After solving the problem of his double relationship it was time to go to work. A few hours later, while Morty was still in the theater, Christopher received a message from Mortimer.
I accepted but nothing happened.
Look at my three boys skilling. I think this little family needs a girl.
Not what I was thinking.
Morty: Maybe we can steal her so Owen can grow up with his sister, what do you think?
Chris: It's not a bad idea, with us she will have more stability than with Lisa and V.J.
No.
NO! What is wrong with you?!
Chris: I am irresistibly unforgettable.
Now, this way of adding a baby? I approve.
I hadn't thought of teaching Owen his toddler skills but Christopher wished to teach him to talk. He is imparting his wisdom on love.
Chris: Be careful who you interact with, sometimes those hearts floating in your head when you meet someone aren't so good.
Something he knows very well.
